Merong Mahawangsa

         

Merong Mahawangsa was related to Alexander the great, which was known as naval captain who came to Asia hundred years ago. Merong was asked to escort a Roman prince, Marcus to Southeast Asia to marry Chinese princess from the Han Dynasty. On the way there, they had been attacked by pirate named garuda and Chinese princess, Meng Li Hua was kidnapped. During the fight, Merong was fainted and being save by the villagers nearby. The headman of the village said to Merong that, he was the only one who can reunite Garuda and the villagers.

          In order to fight with the Garuda, Merong learnt fighting skill, mystical side and weakness of Garuda with the head of the villagers. At the same time he fell in love with Embok , adopted daughter of the headman .The real parents of Embok were killed during Garuda attack and she had been raped by Garuda headman. They finally get married. 

          Merong obtained help from Han Dynasty who wanted to save their princess from Garuda.Merong was very happy and relief because he had found that Marcus, the princes of Roman not died. He became more encouraged to fight the Garuda. During the fight Merong died, but they won the battle. 

          Before watching this movie, I thought it will be very bored but in the end it was interesting. I kept wondering why they were not speaking in Malay since the story based on history of Kedah Tua .Applause should be given to KRU because they had produced good graphic  using CGI and sound effects in the movie. All the fighting scenes seem very real. To all Malaysian, we should be proud with Malaysian product.   

Trail of the Panda

This is a Disney movie which telling us about a cute animal that is been focus on preventing its extinction, Panda. Panda is an undeniably charming creature, and it presence makes Trail of the Panda naturally pleasant. This movie is a simple story about a friendship between a lonely young boy and an injured panda that he nurses back to health. This is a kind of unspeakable bond that exists between them.

The young boy, Xiaolu become an orphan after his parents died in a fire tragedy. The panda was named by him as Pang Pang, means of fat because the panda has a chubby body and paws with a very round eyeball. Since he meet the young panda, his life becomes exciting. After got recovered, Xiaolu teach Pang Pang on how to protect itself. It is a nice and sweet scene where attracted us, the audience to have a panda as a pet.   

  

At the same time, Xiaolu has to protect his animal friend from being catch by his foster father, Lao Chen and a panda researcher, Feng who is adamant in capturing the young injured panda to bring it back to the research center for studies. Xiaolu cannot trust the both adults since they were the ones who caused the near fatal injury to Pang Pang.

Lastly, this movie has a sentimental part with a moral and environmental message where Xiaolu have to send back Pang Pang to the mother. This scene is very touch our heart by imagining we have to let go our thing that we love.

"To Cheat or Not to Cheat"

Cheating means trick for something to make others believed but it is not true. Cheating can happen in a lot of different ways. For example, act in a dishonest way in order to gain an advantage especially in a game or in a competition. Some of them start cheating since childhood but it is not very serious. It is just for fun or wants to be the best among the best when playing game and others. 

     

     Teenagers is one of the group that involve cheating. For example in our university itself, this issue is very common. It is always happen in examination, quizzes or in assignment. There are the reasons why some students cheat in exams for example being afraid of failure and having no ability and confidence in themselves. Being afraid of failure is the most important reason for some students to cheat in exams. Some students think that if they fail the exams, they will have a lot of the following problems. In short, some students are afraid that they will have many problems if they fail the exams, so they start to cheat. Besides, having no ability to do exams is the next reason that causes some students cheating. Some students do not have their own self-confidences to answer the examination.

     In my opinion, cheating is not a crime but is not a good solution to solve the problem. As a people, cheating is not allowed because maybe it became a serious issue. And, if they get caught in cheating, they will be in trouble at school, home and also at other places too.

     Finally, my advice to all micetian and especially my friends, do not cheat and try to be honest person. Although you are not smart enough to obtain excellent grades, you should be proud of yourself that you try to get good grades by your own abilities, not cheating.

Students must vote during the 'Students' Election' because.....

Students must vote during the 'Students' Election' because it will help today youth’s to be more alert, concerned about current issues and aware of the needs of students on campus. This can be achieved by training students to be leader by giving them with adequate tools to make responsible, informed decision and teaching them to be independent. Student Elections is also a platform for students to learn about democracy, to exercise their rights to vote and to voice their opinions. It is a good training ground for future leaders to exercise best practices in their leadership and soft skills.

Student need to vote in order to select the most appropriate leader who hopefully can raise the quality of student life in campus. The person who is elected and leading the student council will act as a voice of the students addresses numerous issues does not matter it is big or small issues. The students have the right to vote during student election so use it wisely. 

 

All the needs of students on campus from safety, accommodations, and others should be good. For example, the students not satisfied with the food provided at café. Few of the students have stomachache and throw out after eating it. To food provided maybe not hygiene and where we should voice it out? We as a student can voice it out to the students’ council about the issue. Here, we will notice the important of voting during student election where voted student will response to the issue and try to solve it and report to the higher constituent of the campus. If we are not doing our right by throwing votes , maybe irresponsible person will become the leader of students council and just care about the popularity he or she gain without doing the work . That is my opinion on students must vote during students election, so my fellow friends, please vote for those you think deserve the position.

Positive thing that i'm going to do during the mid-semester break is........

Majority of students become excitedly when it is come about study break. Mid-semester break is a week break for MICET students. Planning on the things to be done must be playing on the mind. It is depends either the planning is positive or negative things. Whatever it is, mid semester break given a time for me to have a rest while doing things that I want. That is what i'm thinking:-

3 weeks before mid semester break....

The positive thing that i'm going to do during the mid-semester break is I want to visit my aunty and her newborn baby at Singapore. It is very exciting to think about this. Furthermore, I had received my MARA loan and I will renew my passport by using a little of my loan money.

2weeks before mid semester break....

The announcement that there will be a test on Monday right after the mid semester break make me thinking again about my plan to go to Singapore because I need to study during a study break..

1 week before mid semester break....

A plenty of assignment and lab report need to be submit on Monday right after the break make me immediately put on conclusion that I have to cancel my visit to Singapore. I have to complete my plenty of works while studying for the test announced.

Here, it can be conclude that is not all we plan will be happen. It depends on how are we compiling our timetable and our daily work where sometimes it is unexpected. At last, the positive thing that i'm going to do during the mid-semester break is completing assignment and studying for test. 

My technical communication classmate has interesting characteristic

Assalamualaikum…hello!!!!

We meet again. Here, I would like to share with you all with my technical communication classmate that has a very interesting character. I think no need to mention who is she or he, but the important things here this kind of person give me more happy and confidence to be a better student.

What I want to tell here, this person that I mention is a boy. He is a kind and had many friends. Everyday attend to class he always wearing simple dressing. He is a best friend and can help you in your study.

 

He has those entire friendly characteristic such as honestly and respectfulness. He is hardworking person and always attends his classes at punctual time and prepare for his tests and quizzes. He also likes doing his work on time and also keeps his grade up in all classes. Honestly, I’m so jealous with him but at the same time I very proud with him.

Finally, he is a good friend. He always helps his friend when he knows something that his friend doesn’t know about that. I am very happy to have him as my classmate and also my friend.

Do you know what is meaning of leader?

~Leader‘s means people that having an ability and desire to inspire and influence others.

Some people believe that leaders are born with the necessary qualities that make them successful as a leader. While others believe that leadership, like many other similar characteristics, can be learned and developed through life.
 

Leader must have an ability to influence through persuasion. This means that each leader have their own way will be able to influence people. Other than that, leaders also have a strong belief and enthusiasm in themselves and also for their organizations are doing. 

 

There are several ways you can develop your own leadership skills: 

• Work on improving your communication ability, especially your ability to listen to others
• Be willing to take risks
• Network and look for ways to expand your contacts
• Focus on working and living with integrity and respect for others
• Encourage those around you to find their own leadership qualities
• Be confident in yourself and your abilities
• Know your strengths and be ready to ask for support in areas where you are lacking
• Create a vision and share your vision to inspire others
• Think positively and commit to reaching your goals

 

My Regret

Form 3 

In History class, I stared at boy next to me. He was my best friend. I stared at his hair, fair skin and baby face, and wished he was mine. He did not notice me like that.  After class, he asked me for notes that he missed the day before and I handed it to him. He gives me a smile .I wanted to tell him, I do not want to be just friends, I love him and too shy and do not know why…Hmmmm  

Form 4

My phone rang and it was him. He was mumbling about his broken heart. He asked me to go for movies and I did not want him to be alone, so I agreed. Sat next to him, I stared at her baby face and wishing he was mine. After three hours watching the movie, he decided to walk home. He looks at me and says thanks and smile. I want to tell him, I want him to know that I do not want to be just friends, I love him but I just too shy, and I do not know why.   

Form 5

A day before dinner organizes by school, he come to me and says that his partner is sick and I decided to go with him since I do not have any partner. After everything was over, I was standing in front him .We keep looking at each other. He was handsome that night and I was mesmerized. Then he says thanks and he had the best time .At that time , I want to tell him that I want him and I want him to know that I do not want to be just friend ,I love him but I am to shy ,and I do not know why.

SPM Result

After day by day, week by week then a month where our SPM result released. I watched him very happy and keep smiling. Before I went home, he came to me and says that I am his best friends and give me teddy bear as my birthday present. I want to tell him, I want him to know that I do not want to be just friends, I love him but I am too shy, and I do not know why.

Two Years Later 

I am in wedding ceremony and that boy is getting married now. He married to other girl. After outdoor photo shot, he came to me and very glad that I came. I want to tell him, I want him to know that I do not want to be just friends, I love him but I am too shy, and I do not know why.

Funeral

After two years, I looked down at the coffin of a boy who uses to be my "best friend". His wife gives me his secondary school diary. In that diary it says that: I stared at her wishing she was mine and she do not notice it, and I know it. I want to tell her, I want her to know that I do not want to be just friends, I love her but I am too shy, and I do not know why. I Wish she will tell me that she love me too.

I wish I did….I keeps thinking about it and I cried.

                      Will you regret it, if you are in my shoes?  

Birth Order Trait....

Every child have a different character traits. Actually, birth order does not guarantee the character trait but it tends to accentuate character traits that many children already possesses. 

First-born children are more aggressive mover because they had more responsibility. Responsibility makes themselves to be matured, a good leader, has a higher IQ level which caused them often a perfectionist. Parents must ensure that their first children knows what their expectations because they are constantly trying to seek parental approval. Besides that, most of first children like to pretend to know all things and easy to obeys the rules. 

 

Then, the middle-child which are any child born in between the eldest and the youngest will demonstrate the greatest variety of character traits but they will usually be opposite of their older sibling. They will try to be unique because most of them are creative person. So, parents must help them recognize their own talents. Middle children often feel stuck in the middle and make them are not an over achiever like first children. This required parents to take more time to understand their middle children.

On the other hand, the youngest child are usually very different from their older siblings. Mostly, they are not independent person because of being more pampered than other siblings by their parents. Having an eldest sibling makes themselves do not have feel much responsibility and are more carefree. However, it is important for parents to teach about responsibility to their youngest child to avoid themselves becoming knowing of nothing.

  Last but not least, the character trait is actually come from the environment that a child is being raised. It  plays a big role in how their personality will develop. They are not purportedly born with traits that matches their birth order. It can be made up by their parents style on raising them.

What club are you in?

How good you are at sports?

What genre of music do you like?

What grade did you get? 

How many people like you?

How many people call you everyday? 

How many people accept you as you are?

Other than that, have you guys thought about

Who you love and who you have hurt?

Whom you have made happy and unhappy intentionally? 

Who keeps your secrets and who betrays your trust?

What you say, maybe hurtful to someone. Would you say sorry?

How about rumors you have started? 

What will happen when the rumors spread?

How about jealousy, revenge, pain and fear in you? 

Would you like to let it spread and consume your thoughts and feelings?

Do you think we should give monetary incentives to the KP2 students for better grades ?

          There are several benefits of monetary incentive that could contribute to good grades for students. This incentives can lead to high motivated students, higher achievement in studies and increasing in self esteem. 

          Firstly, monetary to the KP2 students will lead to high motivated student. Money will give additional motivation that helps them to make an extra effort to perform better grades. At certain situation, the students will see it as a win-win situation, where they can gain rewards as they get higher grades in studies. 

          Other than that, students can reach higher level achievement in studies .Motivation is required for student to perform well. Increasing in motivation and improving achievement are two benefits for using incentives that work together. For example , a student who is motivated to receive a price for the highest grades on exam is likely to perform better on the exam than he would .The student with high level motivation has a positive action to improve his achievement . He want the prize, he knows he must do well on the test and exam to get the prize. He studies hard for the test and as a result he does better on the test.

          Finally, the monetary incentives will increase the KP2 student self esteem. They know that someone still supporting them and they will do their best and get the grade that they want most. This will increase their self esteem and other positive qualities. So, if the promise of cash for good grade helps to make that more tangible, maybe it is not a bad thing.

If I cOuLd RuLe ThE wORLd....

If I could rule the world, I would construct a ladies island. Inside the island will be a huge shopping center, resort and many places just for ladies. There are many kind of ladies things over the world will be sell in the shopping center such as handbags, shoes, clothes and etc. It is only special for ladies. We know that almost all ladies love shopping. The resort there will be a peacefully spa and flower garden where ladies can pampered themselves. High maintenance facilities such as transportation should be there to make easier for ladies to move inside the island. Besides that, the building in the island will be in sweet, nice and soft painted color to represent ladies.

My Educational Aspiration for 2011

What is the aspiration means?????

Aspiration provide us with clear guidance to meet our educational requirements and helped us in many ways to overcome the problem arises during our visa process.

Do you still remember 2010??????

Oh no, for me it is really give me bad effect especially in my study. Oh my goodness… the big mistakes of having a last minute do the tutorial and writing lab report and also affect for revision the subjects.

So, in the 2011 for new semester I will never repeat the same mistakes and try my best to achieve my goal. I hope all my friends not do the same mistakes that I have done before and try the best in our study. Nothing wrong bursting into tears

My dear friends,please do not push yourselves to much in order to be strong in front of the others . If you want to cry ,do it so and do not deny it. Sometimes you need to cry because you are too stress about something, bad experience, too angry with someone but you cannot put it into words and more . Nothing wrong if you want to cry although you are girls or boys . Crying is one of the therapy to eliminate the negative thinking and manage with your emotion.It is really works .I had come across with research done about crying and it is something that you guys should know . A research had been done towards 100 of volunteers and they were divided into two groups . 50 of them were asked to watch comedy film while the rest watch sad film . After watching the film , the researcher discover that , sad tears consist of chemical and enzyme which only can be find in tumor, ulcer and other disease in the body . In the end of the research, they conclude that human body will produce all types of chemical toxic, gather and become a part of bad experience while we are crying. So guys, cry as much as you want when you are sad because it will give relaxation to your mind and body.The end.    

                 

Tired but enjoyable

Tired but happy.Every Saturday morning, my friends and i will do the exercise at micet field in order to fight the fat and for myself to become as fit as fiddle . First step of course we will do the warm up. Then the excitement begin when everyone doing the side roll . Have you guys try this exercise ? Try to do it for ten times continuously without closing your eyes and you will feel what i feel. Sometimes you feel like throwing up and dizzy. It is enjoyable doing it with friends, laughing at each other and fun. Next , we are doing the squat jump for thirty times continuously. You squat when you crouch down in a low position with your knee fully bent, taking your weight on the soles of your feet or sitting . From the squat position, you have to jump as high as you can then back to the position . This exercise will determine whether you have strong knee or not. Other types of exercise done such as star jump, four angle, commando rest , RAMD rest, ninja turtle and lots more. Maybe some of you know about this type of exercise and maybe not. All of this exercise seems simple but it is effective for certain part of our body. For example, ninja turtle will help you strengthen  your waist.Before doing the warming down, we are practicing some tactical in conventional war .Overall, all of us having fun so, that's the activity done for Saturday morning.
